The Living Learning Communities—currently 13 across the our residential communities—exist for students with shared identities and/or interests to share space together, connect through events, as well as connect residents to faculty and campus support systems for student success and wellness. The LLCs operate on floors of residential dorm buildings with building teams consisting of RAs, CDIs, and building teams, as well as the Academics and First Year Experience team.
The Community Development Internship is an opportunity for students and residents to gain leadership experience. The LLC Community Development Intern, otherwise known as a CDI, is meant to help build and connect residents to resources as well as participate in a wide range of events and activities created by their student leadership team made up of the Resident Assistant(s). The goal of the CDI is to fulfill the 9 Deliverables of the LLCs, while also developing solid networks between students, faculty, and stakeholders.
